| You make just as much with the cheaper rods when you fish without a boat. Splurge the $50 on the sturdy line and just buy maggots and small hooks for a little while. After a few trips you will get all your money back and have enough to buy the strong rod. Don't forget the lumber mill. If you're broke, you can work there and make enough to buy bait and hooks. If you run out of bait and money and still have casts left, sell the fish you caught and buy more bait and hooks to finish out your casts. The idea is to raise your fishing level, which increases your casts, which increases your income. |
