Fireball skill base on str , it add 2 point of damagae if i am correct...so if u have very high str , u will get benefit from it...but fireball only for beginner , it will be unwise to used it in long term , since when u lv up u could acquired more powerfull skill base on str in advanced lv.

As for ice shard. U have to used it together with focus magic.
--->Why coz:
Ice shard skill when not used with focus magic is base on str. Since u are a mage , mage have tendency to have high wisdom. So your damage will be little.

But if u used focus magic first , it will change into wisdom base skill. And inflict more damage..here the exmaple
