| I feel like I'm wasting away Is this right? Am I supposed to miss the sun every day Am I supposed to please my eyes only at night? How long do I still have to linger In this place of suffering and defeat How long must my heart lay silent While desperation is above me on the highest seat? I try to reach the light but it seems to be so distant That gentle voice tried to keep me but I never listened The darkness surrounds me, my breathing slows My soul is taken away to the place where the wind blows.  |
