| i think its more a lack of interest. i can beat the great beast and have been able to on and off for a long time. the last time i couldn't was because i increased my strength too much. your stats have to be fairly good but you have to have a balance between strength and defense/health Most people want to be ven killers which means working more on strength and agility, not so much on defense. That won't work with the great beast as he always hits first and hits hard, if you can't roll with the punches your going to lose In world one i could kill him very early on, as my strength was very low compared to my defense and i'm a mage using wisdom based skills. Any half decent wisdom based mage should be able to take down the great beast, depending on how they've built the warrior. Hell, Killing the great beast is a very small part of the game. You don't even have to do that quest. For most people its the PvP that provides the most fun. |
