| In the mid 80's I worked the 10pm to 6am shift at a doughnut place. I was there alone. There was a back area where the dough was mixed & the pots were washed and the front where the doughnuts were fried and sold. On several different occasions when I was working in the front I heard the pots clanging together in the back. When I went to look, nothing was there. Once, the jelly filling machine switched on and began pumping jelly on to the counter until I ran back there and turned it off. I mentioned this to one of the other bakers who had worked there longer. He said "Oh yeah. This place is haunted; you get used to it." The odd thing was that I did get used to it. |
