| say you are Japanese or Chinese or whatever and you want tech support or to raise a question then you would be in trouble getting a result. Also makes forums etc kind of tricky if everyone babels away in different languages - it would just be a PITA for everyone. I've tried sending some Japanese to someone I know is Japanese and even using single byte kana it all comes out garbled. If you want a more global demand for your product then I'm afraid for now it's English. Who knows in 50 years time it may be mandarin. Proof of that is that all the knobs and buttons on a Japanese car in Japan are in English..... |
