| First of all; the Earth & the sun have come close to alignment before. The distance between the sun & the earth are too far apart for that to have any affect. It's over 90 million miles away! The only concern of the sun is it growing bigger & bigger each year, but by time it becomes big enough to even effect the planet at such a drastic measure; we'd be much older than we are now. It most likely wouldn't even happen in our lifetime or close to it. People believe the dramatic crap that they want to believe because it gives them something bigger in life to look at. At least with fear, people do not feel that they're living with nothing. So to each their own illogical beliefs. |
