I'm not a sheep!  Although brought up Christian (Church of England), going to Sunday school and a church collegiate senior school, I rebelled... Personally, I think religion as a whole is control of the masses through fear of the unknown, a form of mind control and a form of taxation. I have no qualms about death, we all have to face it when it comes (it's the meaning of life, right?), and I'm looking forwards (without wishing it happen sooner) to seeing what the next level of this game is... The thing that might scare me is the manner in which I do die, a quick end for me thank you very much - If I contract something that gives me a protracted and painful end, or I'm heavily crippled or something like that, I reckon its hari kari for me... Whatever comes next has to be better than being stuck on this overcrowded ball we call Earth, and even if there is nothing afterwards, that's cool too; I like sleep. lol, if there is a pearly gate at the end of the tunnel of light after death, I'm not gonna even bother talking to St. Peter, I'm just gonna go up to the elevator and press the down button!  (Sounds more fun downstairs anyway, I bet there's a shit load of rules in heaven, and I've never really been one for rules)Walks with his eyes looking up, waiting for the lightning bolt... |
