 Subject: Skills which would normally
be for sale in the Devious Ridge for 250 Sapps. This is the only way to get one of them for free. (I personally recommend Dire Hit)

So using 2 Sapps for this is most certainly not a waste - you get a new and very good skill that would cost you 248 more.
