 Subject: Not new...
but it is some sort of bug, happened to me too :/ Can't really help it.
But something that might if you have more than two boats is, once you get back to the dock.....change your boat to the other one then when the attacker attacks you it'll will say "you cannot attack this type of boat" and you should be safe.
