| life drifts by like a ghost train across the sky, on a summers eve in the midst of july, It chugs along tracks of clouds, a young girl watches and hears distant sounds, the waves crash against cliffs, her dress flows, sways and lifts, she stands there silently and her mind wanders, it searches distant memories for the time her life plundered, it never recovered, as she soon discovered it never restored, unlike the rain that poured, her toe it slips over the crevise, her body it falls toward the menance, a distant crack is heard over the land, as her body makes its way into the strand |
