| How do you feel? Are you happy, are you sad...? Does a warm touch feel like cold steel? Is a memory only something you ones had? How does it feel? To be so alone and hurt inside... To have no place left to hide To see every day going nowhere, like a ferris wheel? Don't say that you're happy, it's a lie I can see that deep inside you slowly die You seem happy when people are around But when everybody has gone home... your mind loses every sound. Night turns into day, day turns into night Ever morning you mourn, but keep it out of sight When sunshine hits your window and paves the room in gold Your world stays gray like the rain and the cold. How does it feel? To be unable to leave your pain behind... To keep it all inside, refusing to let it heal... And for the happiness from around you to remain blind? So much time has past since then When will you let yourself live again? You have no more reasons to stay in the dark, all alone But still you remain the same when everybody else has gone home...  |
