| It really does depend on the items are. If it is something that you treasure for what it is, or if it suits your personality or describes you in some way, shape, or form then I'd say it's fine. Things that are obviously not suited to you, or that you have mixed emotions about should be put away in a box, and if this new lady might be a 'forever' type then I would maybe keep the box at a friends place or somewhere that she wont accidentally stumble upon it and think that you are hiding something, or having an affair perhaps.
