my request somewhere for support to delete the farms/mines over the outpost square. Fortunately for me I only built over one square accidently.

It does beg the question "how can this happen?" You can't do that in W1 so how is it allowable in W2 - I think there are some issues with (to use some technical jargon) change management here.

What is potentially one of the better improvements (IMHO) it has caused a lot of grief by poor implementation.

Sorry I'm an IT Project Manager and this kind of thing gets me on my soapbox...
