 Subject: I thought all the changes.........
to the monsters depends on you own stats and abilities.

Therefore where as before they were at a set level now the stronger you are, the stronger they are.

I assume you will have to find out the strength / weekness of the monster and train / AP your won ststs to match.

So if you are not getting the first hit in, then upgrade your ability first.
