| I got a mail in my letterbox today. I thought it might be from one of my cousins, so I eagerly opened it up. "Fill in the enrolment form now you're 17, and you'll be ready to vote once you turn 18! Best Wishes! Steve Tully (Electoral Commisioner)" ...Some government guy I've never met remembers my birthday better than my cousins do.  Roflmao!!And look, he gave me a present! An application form!   Edit: Oh, look, it gets better. It comes with a list of 39 people who can prove my identity... I like No. 16: Liquor Licence Holder. Ironic, since anyone receiving this letter can't legally drink. Kind of redundant, don't you think> So, that's 39 people I have no clue about whatsoever that know who I am, and scarily, where I live. O_o The government's new slogan. "Before you decide to toy with us, just remember. We know where you live..." |
